E-learning is the new buzz. The main benefit of Web 2.0 technology is that individuals can share learning. Web 2.0 technologies allow people to read and write on a site. Web 2.0 tools include blogs, wikis, forums, concept maps, digital videoing, imaging, podcast, voicethread and Web 2.0 technologies assimilate with all learning theories. Digital pedagogies are flexible, student centered, supports higher order thinking, scaffolds learner, provides authentic and situated in real life instruction. Digital pedagogy includes collaborative and problem based learning and is not confined by geographic barriers creating global citizens and reinforces skills for life long learning.  Importantly, learning with ICT is most beneficial when combined with learning pedagogy and theory. A journal of my e-learning journey has been blogged for others to read.
